Refund Policy

At Mystery Woodworking, each plaque is handcrafted with care and purpose. We want you to be completely satisfied with your order, and we stand behind the quality of our work.

Eligibility for Refunds

  • If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We’ll work with you to replace or refund your order.

  • Refunds are issued back to your original payment method once the return or claim is approved.

Custom Orders

  • Custom plaques are created specifically for you and are final once you’ve approved the design proof.

  • Refunds are not available for custom orders after approval, except in cases where the product arrives damaged or does not match the approved design.

Process

  1. Email us or use the Contact page to report the issue.

  2. Include your order number and, if applicable, photos of the damage/defect.

  3. We’ll confirm your refund or replacement within 3–5 business days.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Returns requested more than 14 days after delivery.

  • Custom designs after proof approval (unless damaged/incorrect).

  • Normal variations in wood grain, tone, or engraving (these are part of what make each plaque unique).

If for any reason your order arrives damaged, defective, or not what you expected, please reach out to us within 14 days of delivery. We’ll work with you — whether that means a replacement, repair, or refund — with kindness and understanding.

Custom Order Agreement

Every custom plaque is created with special care to reflect your unique vision. Before we begin engraving, you’ll receive a design proof (a digital mockup) for review.

Your order will only move forward once you have approved the design in writing (via email or message). This sign-off confirms that all details — including text, imagery, and layout — are correct.

Once approved, custom orders are final and non-refundable, as the piece is made specifically for you. However, if your plaque arrives damaged or with an error that does not match your approved proof, we’ll make it right.
